The Service Line Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing financial, operational, and strategic activities within designated service line(s). This role ensures that the service line achieves its goals related to profitability, quality care delivery, and market competitiveness. The manager collaborates with senior leadership to develop and implement effective business practices, manage day-to-day operations, optimize staffing, and ensure regulatory compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital’s policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.
Financial and Business Operations Management:
*Manage comprehensive financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, pricing, and contract negotiations, to maintain financial health and achieve departmental objectives.
*Develop and maintain databases for tracking cost and profitability metrics, enabling informed program planning and assessment.
Day-to-Day Operations Supervision:
*Oversee operational activities across the service line location(s), ensuring seamless integration and high-quality patient care.
*Provide on-site supervision and support, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations.
*Coordinate resource allocation effectively among service providers, optimizing clinical performance.
Strategic Planning and Development
*Facilitate strategic initiatives that enhance service line profitability and expand market share.
*Conduct market and financial research in collaboration with business development teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
*Evaluate and recommend strategic directions aligned with departmental growth.
Personnel Management:
*Conduct recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of staff to maintain the necessary levels for quality service delivery.
*Develop and implement personnel policies and workflows to ensure operational efficiency and staff satisfaction.
Continuous Quality Improvement:
*Implement quality improvement measures to enhance service delivery and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
*Collaborate with quality assurance teams to design protocols for continuous improvement initiatives.
*Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications, is qualifying.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work
License/Certification: None required
KNOWLEDGE

*Extensive knowledge of financial systems, encompassing operations, budgeting, analysis, statistics, forecasting, and modeling.
*Understanding of principles and practices of organization, administration, fiscal and personnel management.
*Familiarity with financial and operational management information systems.
*Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements related to the functional areas.
*Ability to develop and administer departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial health.
*Proficiency in developing, writing, analyzing, and presenting business plans, proposals, contracts, and financial analysis reports to support strategic initiatives.
*Expertise in using sophisticated conceptual, numerical, analytical, and statistical skills to solve complex and unique financial problems.
*Capability to foster effective working relationships and build consensus across departments and teams.
*Ability to mediate and resolve complex problems and issues, ensuring collaborative and positive outcomes.
*Proficiency in developing long-range business plans and strategy to support organizational growth and service line enhancement.

Pay Range
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly): $56.96 to $75.52
