Overview Salary: $55,000–$62,000 Location: Hybrid – Framingham, MA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend events About the Role Are you passionate about connecting mission-driven professionals with meaningful work? As a Recruiter at Advocates, you’ll play a key role in helping build teams that support individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges across Massachusetts. This is a fast-paced, relationship-focused recruiting role where you’ll manage full-cycle hiring for a variety of human services positions. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, develop creative sourcing strategies, and create a positive, engaging candidate experience from first conversation through offer acceptance. Minimum Education Required High School Diploma/GED Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles across the organization Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide recruitment guidance and market insight Create compelling job postings and recruitment marketing strategies Source active and passive candidates through job boards, social media, networking, community partnerships, career fairs, colleges/universities, and outreach events Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and alignment with role requirements Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and support interview coordination throughout the hiring process Extend verbal and written offers and assist with candidate negotiations and follow-up questions Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment steps as needed Partner with onboarding staff to support a smooth transition for new hires Stay current on recruiting trends, hiring best practices, and employment laws Attend recruitment events, job fairs, and community outreach opportunities Qualifications Ideal candidates will have experience in recruitment or as a hiring manager, along with strong knowledge of interviewing, screening, and hiring best practices. Bachelor’s degree required or High School diploma/equivalent with two years of relevant recruiting or hiring experience. Experience in human services, healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations preferred Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, and online recruiting platforms Valid driver’s license and access to an insured, reliable vehicle required Strongly prefer candidates with experience supporting and engaging culturally diverse populations Advocates is committed to cultivating a diverse and welcoming community where everyone feels respected and valued.
