Job description

The Regional People Partnering and Workplace Experience Manager plays a key operational leadership role in delivering integrated, high-quality people partnering and workplace experience support across the region.

About us

With over 200 million customers in 50+ countries, Bolt is one of the fastest-growing tech companies in Europe and Africa. And it's all thanks to our people.

We believe in creating an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome, regardless of race, colour, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or disability.

Our ultimate goal is to make cities for people, not cars, and we need your help to achieve this mission!

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Regional People Partnering and Workplace Experience, this role leads a multi-disciplinary team—including Regional People Partners (and, where applicable, People Advisors), as well as Workplace Experience Managers and/or Specialists—ensuring coordinated, consistent execution of strategic and operational priorities at the country level.

This role focuses on steering and enabling these teams to deliver outcomes, rather than handling all activities directly. By acting as the bridge between strategic direction and on-the-ground execution, the Manager ensures that people programs and workplace services are effectively delivered, culturally aligned, and continuously improved.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Lead a multi-country, multi-disciplinary team. Directly manage Regional People Partners, People Advisors (where applicable), and Workplace Experience Managers/Specialists across the region — setting priorities, allocating work, coaching, developing careers, and driving accountability across both streams.
  • Own people programme delivery across the region. Oversee execution of performance management, engagement, compensation review, talent development, and ER through the People Partnering team; act as senior escalation point for complex cases, labour relations, and business-critical people issues.
  • Act as primary HR lead at country level. Steer day-to-day HR operations, ensure compliance with local labour law and global People guidelines, monitor policy implementation and programme adoption, and use people data to influence local and regional decisions.
  • Direct workplace experience and office operations. Partner with the Head of Global Workplace Experience to oversee vendor management, H&S compliance, service standards, supplies, and budget — ensuring offices run consistently, safely, and cost-effectively across the region.
  • Deliver cultural and operational experiences. Guide local Summits, holiday events, and company-wide cultural moments aligned to global standards; coordinate space planning, hybrid work, and infrastructure with Site Leads, Real Estate, Finance, and IT through your team.
  • Bridge strategy and execution as the regional feedback loop. Translate global and regional direction into unified local action plans, surface country-level risks and insights to senior leadership, monitor KPIs across people and workplace, and feed into workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and budget.

About you:

  • Multi-country HR ownership, an experienced people and operations leader with strong managerial capabilities across multi-country, cross-functional teams. — not exposure, actual accountability across different legal frameworks and ER cases in Portugal (nice to have in Spain, Italy, Malta, Cyprus and Paraguay).
  • Proven at managing through others. They get their results via their team leads, not by doing the work themselves. This has to be their natural mode.
  • Skilled in balancing high-level coordination with practical enablement of subject-matter experts across HR and workplace functions.
  • Recognized for building trust, driving clarity, and enabling others to succeed while holding high standards of delivery.
  • A connector and integrator—energized by cross-functional leadership and continuous improvement of local employee experience.

Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying if you feel you’re the kind of person described above!
