Staff Engineer, SAP ARIBA

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total Experience: 6+ years
• Must have sound experience in ARIBA .
• Should be able to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of both Upstream and Downstream SAP Ariba modules, including Sourcing, Supplier Management, Contract Management, Spend Visibility, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Buying & Invoicing, and Invoice Management.
• Should be able to define workflows, system configurations, and process automations to streamline procurement, supplier onboarding, contract management, and invoice processing.
• Should be proficient in SAP Ariba Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI) tools, and creating custom reports and dashboards.
• Should have experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), or other middleware technologies for system integration.
• Should have experience with end-to-end implementation of SAP Ariba ? Collaborate with business users to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications ? Develop test strategies, test plans and test scripts.
• Should be able to perform functional testing execution after development completion.
• Should be able to identify and apply continuous improvement processes for operational efficiencies, drive process integration, and standardization.
• Should be able to troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to SAP Ariba module.
• Must have familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus.
• Must have familiarity with data migration tools and techniques for migrating from SAP SRM to SAP Ariba.
• Must have experience in Utility Industry is a plus ? Proven Expertise in SAP MM and SAP Ariba with extensive experience in Configuring and managing both Modules.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in the context of the project
• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.
• Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
• Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
• Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs.
• Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it.
• Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken.
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.

 

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
