Job description

The Senior Program Manager will have multiple years of experience and plays a critical role in ensuring complex programs move forward with clarity, alignment, and operational discipline. This role drives structured execution by coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups, maintaining process integrity, facilitating reviews, enabling decision making, and ensuring program objectives are met on time and within scope.

    Program Oversight & Daily Execution

    • Oversee day-to-day program activities, ensuring clear ownership, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Review new program requests, charters, or change proposals for completeness and strategic fit.
    • Coordinate across multiple workstreams, tracking progress and ensuring risks and dependencies are managed proactively.
    • Maintain centralized tracking tools, dashboards, and status reports to provide clear visibility to leadership.

    Cross-Functional Stakeholder Coordination

    • Partner closely with key functions including:
      -Product / Business – to align on goals, value, and prioritization.
      -Operations & PMO – to validate feasibility, capacity, and portfolio fit.
      -Technology / Architecture – to assess technical implications and dependencies.
      - Legal / Compliance / Risk – for regulatory or contractual reviews when required.
    • Facilitate working sessions and review forums to keep stakeholders aligned and unblock issues.
    • Escalate decisions or risks to leadership when cross-functional alignment is required.

    Governance & Process Management

    • Ensure programs follow established governance frameworks, stage gates, and approval steps.
    • Maintain and continuously improve program documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Champion operational excellence by identifying and addressing process gaps and inefficiencies.
    • Support strategic prioritization and portfolio alignment activities with leadership teams.

    Risk, Issue & Decision Management:

    • Proactively identify program risks, interdependencies, and delivery challenges.
    • Maintain structured RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs. 
    • Drive timely resolution through clear ownership, escalation, and tracking. 
    • Document and communicate key decisions to relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and traceability.

    Training, Enablement & Change Management:

    • Lead onboarding and enablement sessions for new stakeholders, ensuring clarity of processes and roles.
    • Develop and maintain quick reference guides, training decks, and FAQs to support program execution.
    • Communicate process updates, policy changes, or new tooling to all relevant teams.
    • Act as a subject matter resource for best practices in program governance and execution.

    Reporting & Metrics

    • Develop and maintain dashboards and status reports that track:
      -Program milestones and health
      -Decision and review turnaround times
      -Bottlenecks and throughput
      - Resource utilization and capacity signals
