We have an exciting opportunity (new projects) for experienced Associate Director - Electrical to join our Building Services team in Singapore and become part of a network of over 400 Building Services Engineers across the Asia Pacific. As an Associate Director, you will play a key leadership role in driving project delivery, strengthening client relationships, and growing our Building Services capability. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee technical and commercial performance, and contribute to the continued success and growth of the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultant ready to step into a broader role that combines technical excellence, project leadership, and client engagement. This position will be based in our Singapore Office and reporting to Studio Manager.

About You

You are an experienced engineer from a consulting environment with a proven track record in delivering complex projects and managing client relationships. You bring strong technical capability together with commercial awareness and leadership skills. You are confident leading teams, engaging clients, and driving successful project outcomes. You are motivated by delivering high-quality solutions, developing people, and contributing to the growth of the business.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to:

• Deliver operational excellence through the effective management of complex electrical designs and multiple projects, ensuring high-quality technical outcomes
• Lead and manage project teams, providing technical oversight, design reviews, and guidance to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Develop practical, efficient, and cost-effective engineering solutions through strong application of technical principles
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and project objectives
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes and repeat business
• Manage project risks through sound technical, commercial, and financial management, ensuring alignment with project and business objectives
• Understand the impact of engineering decisions on project cost, programme, and profitability
• Demonstrate strong consulting, communication, and networking skills, contributing positively to the team and broader business

Key Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore, will be an advantage)
• Minimum10 years of relevant experience within a consultancy environment
• Proven experience in leading or supporting electrical design and design management across sectors such as healthcare, commercial and/or institutional projects
• Strong understanding of Singapore codes, regulations, and authority submission processes
• Proficient in engineering design tools and BIM platforms (e.g. Navisworks)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently with initiative, while contributing effectively within a team environment
• Strong organisational, coordination, and delegation capabilities
• A client-focused, delivery-oriented mindset with a collaborative working style
