FANAR S.A. is looking for
IT specialist-service technician
Provides first-line technical support to the organization's internal users of computer applications and hardware.
Your responsibilities
Installation, configuration, and setup of workstations, IT equipment, and peripherals, including laptops, desktop computers, printers, and mobile devices.
Diagnosing and resolving hardware, system, application, and network issues reported by end users.
Providing ongoing user support regarding the use of software, hardware, IT infrastructure, and access to company resources.
Basic administration and support of network infrastructure, including LAN/Wi-Fi, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and access to network resources.
Handling tickets in the ticketing system, including logging, categorizing, resolving, monitoring timeliness, and escalating issues in accordance with applicable SLAs.
Analyzing recurring IT incidents and proposing corrective and preventive measures.
Executing IT purchases, ordering hardware, accessories, and services, and collaborating with suppliers.
Maintaining inventory records, managing the warehouse, and overseeing the IT equipment lifecycle, including issuance, receipt, relocation, servicing, and decommissioning of devices.
Supporting employee onboarding and offboarding processes regarding the preparation or handover of equipment, account configuration, access rights, and updating records.
Creating and updating technical documentation, user manuals, and internal procedures.
Collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the continuity of IT services.
Ensuring that IT operations comply with applicable security standards, organizational policies, and data protection rules.
Your profile:
Higher education or currently pursuing a degree – preferably in computer science or related fields.
Proficiency with Windows systems
Knowledge of networking concepts
Knowledge of office equipment assembly and configuration
Ability to learn quickly
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
English proficiency sufficient to read and understand technical documentation
