Position Summary

A key role in the Enterprise Salesforce service, this candidate will work in a close-knit product focused team to deliver critical applications to BMS on the Salesforce platform. The successful candidate will have experience with multiple salesforce technologies and the capacity and opportunity to both learn and teach technologies and processes to other team members.

The Salesforce Senior Developer works closely with their Product Team peers, their Technical Lead, and the Enterprise Engineering Manager to ensure robust delivery according to an agile plan.

·       Agility to learn new tools and processes. Key Responsibilities·       Developing customized solutions on the Salesforce platform supporting BMS Salesforce engineering solutions

·       Understanding / Influencing user stories, product architecture, release roadmap, development tools and processes

·       Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications in a close-knit product focused team environment.

·       Contributing to timelines and development goals.

·       Unit Testing and coordinating with Testing resources.

·       Troubleshooting, Root cause identification, Support Case creation and remediation.

·       Review and contribution to SDLC technical documentation

·       Maintaining the security and integrity of all application software.

·       Configure & Develop Agentforce and Einstein AI features and capabilitiesQualifications & Experience

·       Strong technical skills in Salesforce development, including Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.

·       Experience in Salesforce integrations with external systems.

·       Design, build, and deploy AI agents using Agentforce, including configuring agent reasoning, defining specific actions through Flows or Apex, and managing trust layer settings.

·       Integrate Data Cloud with Agentforce to ensure AI agents have the real-time context needed to execute complex business tasks.

·       Experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools, such as JIRA.

·       Knowledge of data migration and data mgmt. tools and techniques, such as Data Loader and Data Import Wizard.

·       Strong understanding of Salesforce security features and best practices, including role hierarchy, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.

·       Knowledge of Salesforce Clouds, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Health, and Marketing Clouds.

·       Experience in designing and implementing custom solutions using Salesforce Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and Visualforce.

·       Strong understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

·       Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.

·       Requires thorough knowledge of the principles and concepts of a discipline and developed knowledge of other related disciplines, typically gained through a university degree and 6-8+ years of experience.

·       Participates in decision making and brings experiences and ideas to achieve team objectives. ​

·       Identifies short-term and long-term development goals aligned with current capabilities.

·       Looks to improve processes, structures, and knowledge across teams. Leads in analyzing current states, delivers strong recommendations, and able to actively assist to bring complex solutions to completion.​
