You’ll play a key role in ensuring drivers stay informed, engaged, and well-supported while working closely with local Operations and HQ teams to improve operational excellence across the Mother City.

About the role
As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting Bolt’s driver community across Cape Town. You will manage driver communication channels, coordinate engagement initiatives, maintain operational documentation, and ensure operational processes run smoothly within the market.
This role requires a highly responsive and organised individual who can balance operational execution, stakeholder communication, and community engagement. You will work closely with local Operations teams and HQ stakeholders to improve the driver experience, strengthen community relationships, and support operational excellence across the Cape Town market.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Handle driver communications professionally and responsively using tools such as Braze to manage queries at scale
- Own, manage, and continuously improve the driver guide to ensure operational information remains accurate and up to date
- Organise and host driver forums and engagement sessions across Cape Town to strengthen relationships with the driver community
- Run proactive driver engagement initiatives aimed at improving loyalty, retention, and overall driver satisfaction
- Support and improve day-to-day operational processes to ensure smooth execution across the Cape Town market
- Collaborate closely with local Operations and HQ teams to align priorities and implement operational initiatives
- Monitor operational challenges and identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
- Maintain accurate operational documentation and communicate important updates clearly to drivers and stakeholders
- Support the implementation of operational standards, policies, and platform updates within the local market
- Gather and share market insights and driver feedback to support data-driven operational decisions
About you:
- You have experience in operations, logistics, mobility, marketplace businesses, or community management roles
- You are a strong communicator who can confidently engage with drivers, local communities, and internal stakeholders
- You are highly organised, responsive, and able to manage multiple operational priorities simultaneously
- You are comfortable managing written operational content and ensuring documentation accuracy
- You have strong analytical skills and experience using Excel or Google Sheets
- You are collaborative and work effectively across local and global teams
- You have excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- You have a passion for technology, operations, and transforming urban mobility in Cape Town
