Job Title: Specialist Locum Podiatrist
Banding: Band 6
Location: North London
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Hourly Rate: 拢25-27 per hour
Working Hours: 0.8 WTE (approximately 30 hours per week)

Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Podiatrist to work for an NHS client in North London. This role involves delivering high-quality podiatry care to a diverse patient population, including high-risk individuals requiring specialist skin and nail care, nail surgery, and wound management. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary podiatry service, contributing to a wide range of clinical areas including routine care, domiciliary visits, MSK foot conditions, and diabetic foot care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist podiatry care including skin and nail treatment for high-risk patients.
  • Perform nail surgery and support wound care management.
  • Deliver care across community, clinic, and domiciliary settings.
  • Work collaboratively within the podiatry and wider healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • HCPC registered Podiatrist.
  • Previous experience at Band 6 level or equivalent.
  • Competence in nail surgery and wound care management.
  • Experience working with diabetic and high-risk patient groups.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
