Who we are
We're Redis. We built the product that runs the fast apps our world runs on. (If you checked the weather, used your credit card, or looked at your flight status online today, you’re welcome.) At Redis, you’ll work with the fastest, simplest technology in the business—whether you’re building it, telling its story, or selling it to our 10,000+ worldwide customers. We’re creating a faster world with simpler experiences. You in?
Why would you love this job?
As a Senior Internal Communications Manager, you will own and evolve Redis’s internal communication strategy to ensure employees are aligned with company priorities, equipped with timely information, and engaged in our mission and culture. This role partners closely with executives, People leadership, and cross-functional teams to drive clarity, transparency, and connection across a complex, high-growth global organization.
You will be both strategist and hands-on communicator—building frameworks, coaching leaders, and producing high-impact content that resonates across audiences, cultures, and time zones. This role requires exceptional writing skills, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate sensitive or high-visibility communication moments with confidence.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute the global internal communications strategy, ensuring employees receive the right information, in the right format, at the right time.
- Craft high-quality content, including company announcements, leadership messages, town hall scripts, presentations, intranet updates, organizational communications, and crisis / change-management communications.
- Partner with executives and senior leaders to support their communication needs—providing coaching, feedback, and frameworks that reinforce clarity and consistency.
- Drive communications for company-wide programs such as quarterly All Hands meetings, People initiatives, operational updates, culture-building programs, and major product or business milestones.
- Establish communication standards, voice, and best practices that strengthen alignment and reinforce Redis’s cultural values.
- Measure communication effectiveness by tracking engagement, reach, sentiment, and behavioral outcomes; use insights to continuously improve channels and messaging. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, PR, People, IT, Product, etc.) to ensure messaging is synchronized internally and externally. Enhance and maintain internal channels, including intranet, newsletters, Slack, and video communications, ensuring content is purposeful, accessible, and engaging.
- Lead communications for organizational changes, including M&A integration, restructuring, policy shifts, and other moments requiring clarity and sensitivity.
- Champion employee engagement by amplifying stories that reflect Redis’s culture, achievements, and people.
- Collaborate with and assist the HR team on other initiatives and projects, as required.
What will you need to have?
- 5-8+ years of internal, employee, or corporate communications experience, ideally within a global high-tech or SaaS company.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely at an executive level; exceptional writing and storytelling skills are a must.
- Experience supporting leadership teams and navigating complex, sensitive, or ambiguous communication scenarios.
- Strong strategic thinking with a bias toward structured, proactive communication planning.
- Demonstrated success managing communication around organizational change.
- Ability to operate at both a strategic and hands-on execution level.
- Experience working across distributed global teams and adapting communication for diverse audiences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Familiarity with internal communication tools, digital channels, and engagement analytic
