Job description
As our E-Commerce & Marketing Manager, you are the hotel’s digital and brand positioning architect. This role elevates the hotel’s visibility across all digital touchpoints, drives direct revenue growth, and safeguards brand integrity in alignment with Fairmont standards.
As a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team, this role reports to the General Manager and combines strategic vision with analytical rigor, ensuring the hotel is positioned as a preferred destination for discerning travelers, meetings, and social events.
You balance analytical rigor with digital creativity to grow market share, enhance brand desirability, and connect the right guest to the right product at the right price, on the right channel.
You are the objective, data-driven voice guiding strategic decision-making across all commercial verticals.
What you will do
Digital Strategy & Direct Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to maximize direct bookings and optimize digital conversion
- Drive performance across brand.com, OTA channels, luxury consortia platforms, and paid media
- Oversee website content, digital platforms optimization, booking engine performance, and SEO/SEM initiatives
- Manage digital campaigns with a strong ROI focus, including paid search, display, retargeting, and metasearch
- Monitor digital KPIs (conversion, traffic, pace, channel mix) and provide actionable insights
Brand & Positioning
- Protect and elevate the hotel’s luxury positioning across all digital and print platforms
- Ensure all content reflects the hotel’s identity, storytelling, and service ethos
- Collaborate with global/brand teams to ensure compliance with brand standards and campaigns
- Lead content creation including photography, video, social storytelling, and partnership activations
Social Media & Content Marketing
- Curate a refined and aspirational social presence aligned with luxury traveler expectations
- Develop an annual content calendar supporting key revenue periods, F&B activations, spa offerings, and seasonal experiences
- Foster influencer, media, and strategic partnerships that enhance brand visibility
Performance Marketing & Analytics
- Own monthly digital performance reporting and budget tracking
- Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and customer behavior
- Identify new digital opportunities to enhance share of voice and market share
- Work closely with Revenue Management to align digital strategy with pricing and demand periods
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Revenue, and Operations to support need periods, group campaigns, and F&B initiatives
- Support the hotel’s positioning strategies
- Act as the hotel’s digital champion, driving innovation and best practices
What you will bring
- 5+ years in luxury hospitality marketing, e-commerce, or digital commerce;
- Proven track record driving direct revenue, digital campaigns, and brand.com performance;
- Experience with booking engines, OTAs, digital distribution, loyalty programs, and CRM campaigns;
- Analytical expertise in KPIs, revenue performance, and campaign ROI;
- Luxury brand sensibility with strategic commercial acumen;
- Fluent in English and Portuguese; French is a plus;
- Multi-property or pre-opening experience is advantageous.
