Sr Application Engineer - MPU

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate whose primary responsibilities will be coding, debugging and testing of embedded firmware application designated for Renesas MPU, candidate will be reporting to Manager, MPU Application Engineering in India or Japan

Key Responsibilities

• Application engineering to provide exceptional technical support to customers using Renesas MPU products.
• Play a hands-on role to understand and articulate MPU solutions and value proposition that meet customer's needs.
• Determine customer requirements and expectations and proactively recommend products and solutions needed to develop their end user applications.
• Coordinate closely with FAE and Business Acceleration teams to support their sales goals.
• Serve as a technical expert on MPU products, providing guidance and training to internal teams and customers as needed.
• Manage customer escalations and coordinate with internal teams to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain technical collaterals and training materials to support customers and internal teams.
• Develop solutions and Proof-of-Concept designs to showcase capabilities of Renesas MPU products.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to provide insights and recommendations in engineering for MPU product roadmap.
• Manage application engineering projects with partners and design houses.

• B.Tech in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, or equivalent (M.Tech preferred).
• 3+ years of Professional industry experience in embedded systems

Preferred Skills

• Foundational understanding of CPU architecture and electronic circuits.
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with MPUs for Linux and RTOS based embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C programming (at least some exposure is expected)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable engaging with customers, primarily in India and SEA, while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience in high-end HMI, video codec, embedded artificial intelligence applications.
• Experience in real-time control, industrial ethernet and Time-Sensitive Networking.
