JOB PURPOSE: 

 

Maintenance technician operating on a 24/7 shift, with at least 3/5 years' experience in the field of electrical/electronic maintenance on industrial production plants and in the management/intervention on complex automation systems. 

The resource will be responsible for ensuring the operational continuity of the plants during the shift, intervening promptly in the event of failures and supporting activities to improve the reliability and safety of the production lines. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

Diagnosis and resolution of electrical/electronic faults and on automation systems (PLCs, inverters/drives, sensors/actuators).  Execution of corrective interventions and support for preventive/predictive maintenance in collaboration with the maintenance team.  Securing the intervention area and compliance with HSE and lockout/tagout procedures where required.  Updating of shift reports (interventions performed, causes, downtime) and structured handover.  Support for line start-up after stops and participation in continuous improvement activities (reduction of downtime, standardization, fault analysis). 

The profile is completed by: operational autonomy, aptitude for problem solving, ability to work in a team and availability to work in shifts (H24/7) and availability, if required 

 

 

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:   

 

  • Reading of electrical diagrams 
  • Basic electromechanics / electromechanical drives 
  • PLC systems (mainly Siemens). Knowledge of basic languages and the ability to perform fault finding/simple SW modifications are required 
  • inverters/drives of the main brands (SIEMENS, NIDEC, ABB, Lenze, etc.). The ability to program/commission inverters/drives is required, as well as knowledge of feedback systems. 
  • knowledge, even basic, of anthropomorphic systems is appreciated 
  • A high school diploma is required, preferably with a technical focus and proven experience in the field of industrial production
