High-Level Overview
Benevity is the global leader in online workplace giving, donation matching, volunteering, and community investment software and we are seeking an Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, this role will assist our leadership team with forecasting, analyzing and understanding our financial plans and results.

What you’ll do:
- Work closely with the FP&A Manager and senior business partners across Benevity to assist in the development of the annual budget
- Own and develop financial forecasts that accurately predict business performance
- Deliver consistent and reliable variance analysis of the company's financial, people and operational data to inform decision making across the business
- Support strategic business decisions through ROI-focused financial modeling and analysis for our internal teams.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and serve as a key point of contact for all things finance.
- Prepare board decks, executive presentations, and investor communications.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate financial analysis, automate reporting tasks, streamline workflows and surface insights from large and complex datasets
- Contribute to implementation of new financial planning tool
- Own FP&A data maintenance and integrity across our planning and reporting systems
- Support ongoing enhancement of financial processes, systems and data to improve accuracy, scalability, and automation.
What you’ll bring:
- Curious, naturally analytical, motivated to learn, question the status-quo, moves fast…
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel and data analysis with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with or demonstrated curiosity about AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance analytical workflows, automate reporting, and improve productivity
- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, prioritizing competing deliverables and multi-tasking
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite, Pigment, Adaptive Insights and Salesforce an asset
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
- Minimum of 2+ years of FP&A, Corporate Finance, Budgeting/Forecasting or related experience; SaaS or Fintech experience an asset
