As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager responsible for the entire supply chain operation of QuidelOrtho Mexico and Central America. This role is expected to show leadership within all areas of demand planning, customer service, import, warehousing, transportation, distribution and trade compliance for finished goods and spare parts. Will develop and implement strategy aiming at creating an organization that is capable to deliver an agile, cost effective and customer centric logistic solutions. Works closely with commercial team to ensure customers receive products on time and in full.
Your new role:
Responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain operations across Mexico and Central America, including warehousing, transportation, distribution, and trade compliance for finished goods and spare parts. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional partners on demand planning, inventory replenishment, and customer service.
The Responsibilities
Lead, develop, and coach the supply chain team, ensuring strong talent management and organizational capability
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders across functions
Lead and/or support supply chain initiatives, including system implementations (e.g., SAP), operational transitions, and warehouse transfers
Monitor, analyze, and drive performance against key supply chain KPIs (e.g., OTS, OTIF, LIFR, logistics costs, scrap/write-offs)
Ensure robust warehouse, transportation, distribution, and customs processes and systems are in place to meet or exceed business objectives
Manage third-party logistics providers (3PLs), including contract negotiation and performance management
Assess business, market, and customer requirements to design and implement cost-effective, high-quality solutions
Collaborate cross-functionally to align processes, procedures, and strategic initiatives
Ensure timely and effective resolution of operational issues impacting service and performance
Identify, sponsor, and lead continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives
Escalation to LATAM SC Director.
The Individual
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience at the manager level in Supply Chain Management, with a strong focus on distribution, trade compliance, and inventory management.
Proven experience managing teams
Experience working in global organizations
Healthcare industry and cold-chain supply chain experience required
Travel: up to 25%
Strong leadership and communication skills
Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes based on hands-on experience
ERP system knowledge, preferably SAP
Financial acumen related to supply chain (e.g., business planning, inventory management, write-off planning)
Fluency in English and Spanish
