Job description
The Defense Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Laboratory Technician to work at our Picatinny Arsenal, NJ site. The Senior Laboratory Technician will support research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) activities on US Army programs.
Primary Responsibilities.
Participate in the execution of studies that include synthesis, scale-up, and formulation of energetic materials for various applications
Support a broad range of studies in support of development of new energetic materials and formulations for additive manufacturing applications
Responsible for experimental equipment maintenance, setup and takedown
Conduct analysis and testing as directed
Collect analytical and test data and prepare reports.
Basic Qualifications.
High school diploma and 2-4 years of relevant experience in an R&D laboratory setting.
Familiarity with the operation of scientific laboratory equipment.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
U.S. citizenship required.
Ability to work in a team-based environment.
Preferred Qualifications.
Knowledge of energetics and/or additive manufacturing a plus.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
