Job description
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team and support our client in San Antonio, TX. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud solutions within the AWS ecosystem. Your day-to-day work will involve architecting scalable infrastructure, deploying cloud-native applications, and optimizing system performance using AWS best practices. You will leverage your expertise in Linux environments and command-line interfaces to automate workflows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability for mission-critical systems. You will be working on sensitive projects that demand strict adherence to security protocols and compliance standards. To excel in this position, you should be comfortable working with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, enabling you to provision and manage resources efficiently. Familiarity with AWS services like S3, Lambda, and VPC will be advantageous, as will hands-on experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Exposure to monitoring and logging solutions, as well as a background in scripting or automation, will help you streamline operations and proactively address potential challenges. Success in this environment will come from your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, adapt to evolving requirements, and deliver robust cloud solutions that support organizational objectives.
What you’ll do:
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud architectures to support business and technical requirements
- Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS services and best practices
- Utilize Linux and command-line interface (CLI) tools for system administration and automation tasks
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient cloud operations
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments for performance and cost-effectiveness compliance with security standards
- Provide technical support and guidance for AWS cloud-related issues
- Stay current with AWS advancements and recommend improvements to existing cloud infrastructure
What you’ll need:
- 2 years of experience developing an AWS cloud infrastructure
- 2 years of experience in Linux command line (CLI)
- Experience with Terraform within the last 2 years
Bonus points if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- Experience with AWS services
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Clearance:
Must have an active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
