The Assistant Vice President will support a wide range of Treasury Operations functions for the insurance business. The successful candidate must manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment for multiple legal entities while supporting initiatives to enhance the existing functions to meet the rapidly changing needs of the business.
- Manage and develop payment controls for daily processing and straight through processing.
- Approve internal fundings and external payments to third parties
- Expand connectivity between TMS and banking partners
- Oversee third party servicers banking capabilities
- Develop and maintain centralized processes to handle reporting initiatives including ad hoc requests
- Participate in company-wide initiatives/projects to improve processes and infrastructure including workflow automation, liquidity reporting, and variance analysis
- Prepare and present materials to Senior Management and external counterparties
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree required with a minimum of 7 years work experience in a Treasury or Financial Operations Role
- Knowledge of treasury systems (i.e. Kyriba or other banking platforms) is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Visio
- Proactively addresses issues that may impact outcome of initiatives
- Prior experience implementing financial controls in compliance with SOX a strong plus
- Prior experience with Tableau a strong plus
- Prior experience in insurance industry a strong plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to identify, communicate, and resolve key issues
- Positive attitude even when faced with difficult obstacles, issues or challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commercial mind set with an entrepreneurial spirit
