Delivery Lead - Infrastructure & Cyber

The role 

As our Delivery Lead - Cyber & Infrastructure, you’ll lead a portfolio of cyber security and technology delivery initiatives that uplift Vector’s security posture, reduce risk, and improve service reliability. 

This role spans: 

• Cyber security projects (including client‑facing delivery and external work), 

• Desktop and endpoint uplift (patching, coordination, deploying new technologies that decrease risk), 

• Services infrastructure reliability and migrations (moving applications across environments to achieve resilience and cost savings). 

You’ll bring structure to ambiguity, juggle multiple streams of work, and help teams deliver well,  even when priorities are shifting and timelines are tight. 

On a typical week, you can expect to:

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of cyber and infrastructure initiatives, from shaping and planning through to implementation and benefits realisation. 

• Run effective delivery cadence and planning (refinement, stand‑ups, reviews, retros), adapting the approach to suit each initiative. 

• Coordinate delivery across highly technical stakeholder groups, vendors, and partners,  building trust through clear communication and follow‑through. 

• Own progress reporting, risks, dependencies, and financial tracking across multiple projects. 

• Support secure, well‑managed change into production and operational environments. 

• Foster an environment where teams feel supported, planned for, and able to do their best work, while continuously improving how delivery is done. 

What you’ll bring 

You’re a delivery practitioner who thrives in fast‑moving technical environments, curious, adaptable, and able to bring clarity and momentum even when you’re learning on the fly. 

To succeed, you’ll bring: 

• Demonstrated depth of experience in delivery or project roles, with a strong track record of leading work independently from planning through to implementation. 

• Demonstrated experience delivering technology migrations, with exposure or experience with Cyber Security a distinct benefit. 

• Comfort juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities, with flexibility to work the hours needed to land outcomes. 

• Strong stakeholder skills, particularly with highly technical teams, and a practical “consider it done” mindset that builds trust. 

• Solid delivery discipline: planning, reporting, risk management, and keeping delivery moving. 

• A continuous improvement mindset, spotting what’s missing and helping mature the delivery environment. 

• Delivery certifications (Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, PMP, or similar) are welcome but not essential.
