Job description

Summary: As a Front Desk Night Auditor, you will be the face of our property during the overnight hours. You are responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring seamless overnight operations, and performing key accounting and auditing tasks. This role requires a balance of hospitality, attentiveness, and precision to support both guest satisfaction and financial accuracy.

Guest Service & Front Desk Operations

  • Welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor upon arrival.
  • Handle guest check-in/check-out efficiently and accurately.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with genuine care.
  • Provide concierge-level information and services when needed.
  • Maintain a secure and calm environment for all guests throughout the night.

Night Audit & Financial Duties

  • Perform nightly audit functions including balancing and verifying daily transactions.
  • Generate, review, and reconcile daily revenue reports.
  • Post room, tax, and other charges as required.
  • Prepare and distribute daily management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

Administrative & Safety Duties

  • Communicate effectively with other departments to address guest or operational needs.
  • Ensure accurate shift handovers and maintain detailed logs of overnight activities.
  • Support emergency procedures and guest safety protocols during overnight hours.
  • Previous night audit or front desk experience in a luxury hotel strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in PMS systems (e.g., Opera Cloud) and night audit procedures.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French or a second language is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, refined communication style, and strong attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, elegance, and delivering curated guest experiences.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and resolve issues promptly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or certification in hospitality preferred.

Pay: $32.50 per hour

Schedule: Overnight 11:00PM - 7:30AM (includes weekends & holidays)

Hiring Process & Timeline: To help candidates plan accordingly, we anticipate the following timeline for the recruitment process:

  • First-Round Interviews - Candidates selected to move forward will be invited to interview on Monday, 5/11 through Saturday, 5/16, between 11:00AM and 4:00PM.
  • Final Interviews - Candidates advancing to the final stage should plan to be available between Tuesday, 5/19 and Saturday, 5/23, 1:30PM and 4:00PM.
  • Hiring Decision - A final hiring decision is expected shortly after the final interview stage.

Interview timing may be adjusted based on scheduling availability.
