- Working closely with specialists across the Deutsche Telekom Group on topics related to public cloud and open-source technologies.
- Preparing technical materials, presenting architectural concepts, and advising management on strategic technology decisions.
- Acting as a senior architect within an agile squad — supporting, mentoring, and guiding colleagues as part of everyday work.
- Handling hands-on tasks at the console to validate and support architectural decisions.
You want to…
- Improve and modernize cloud platform architecture with IT security top of mind.
- Design and develop innovative platform and SaaS features.
- Be a trusted advisor in OpenStack-based public cloud technologies.
- Work hands-on and combine architecture with practical implementation.
- Automate consistently using established frameworks.
- Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject — or equivalent professional training.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in IT with strong exposure to modern cloud technologies.
- Deep knowledge of software, cloud, and container architectures.
- Experience with infrastructure automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Strong knowledge of Python programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms
- Strong customer orientation and the ability to understand real-world use cases.
- Knowledge of agile development methods and experience working in agile teams.
- Mentoring, presentation, and communication skills — you can explain complex concepts clearly.
- Ability to evaluate technical solutions and propose creative, future-proof approaches.
- OpenStack knowledge and open-source programming experience are strong pluses.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
