Job description

Our opportunity for you:

We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join the team for a fixed-term through to the end of September, helping ensure projects are well organised, clearly communicated and smoothly run.

Day to day, this role:

  • Provides project coordination support – assisting with project plans, timelines, tracking, communications and coordination of resources
  • Provide administrative support to the team across all aspects of production (briefs, scheduling, budgeting, call sheets, notes, asset and file management etc)
  • Supporting delivery – working closely with the team to ensure a well-organised, collaborative and efficient production environment.

You can find out more details in our job description here.

Who we’re looking for:

Our ideal candidate will have worked in a production team within a creative environment – but it’s not essential.

What we definitely need is a positive, proactive attitude, and someone who can work with a wide range of people and not get hung up when plans change!

You’ll have administrative/coordination experience within projects, strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. A clear and confident communicator, you’ll also be self-motivated and enjoy solving problems.

You’ll be joining a supportive team who’ll help get you up and running quickly in the role. It’s a busy and varied position, with a front-row seat to the amazing work our creative crew produce here.

We’re looking for someone to start ideally by 1 June (or before), with the role due to end late September.

The salary band for this role is $67-75k, and it’s full-time (40 hours per week) on-site.

If you have any questions, please reach out to recruitment@wetaworkshop.co.nz

Applications close 24 May 2026 (we may start interviewing earlier if we have strong candidates).

If we can do anything to accommodate you during the recruitment or interview process, please let us know.

Successful candidates will need to undergo a Ministry of Justice check as part of our application process.
