Vast is looking for a Project Coordinator, reporting to the Director, Marketing Operations, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of human-rated space stations. This role will coordinate vendor relationships, manage organizational operations, and execute marketing and brand initiatives.

This will be a full-time, exempt position located in our Long Beach location.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the operations and logistics surrounding marketing and communications projects
  • Assist with vendor management, communications, and logistics across the Marketing department
  • Assist with internal and external event planning logistics, including trade shows and experiential events as it pertains to marketing deliverables
  • Facilitate and own vendor communications to make sure projects are driven forward and internal/external teams are kept informed on latest updates
  • Ensure purchase orders are accurate with no cost overruns
  • Coordinate with supply chain and accounts payable by keeping track of time purchase order inputs, assisting with vendor onboarding, and helping process vendor invoice payments on time with the finance team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years of experience
  • Experience working multiple projects across various disciplines
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to make independent judgments with limited information
  • Logical and strategic approach to solving problems

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with Brand Marketing and digital marketing skills
  • Ability to double check artwork via Adobe Creative Suite or tools like Figma
  • Familiar with Google workspace
  • Ability to create and update request for purchase requisitions and orders (POs)
  • Understanding of artwork requirements, basic materials, creative and design workflows
  • Comfortable working in a high-stress environment balancing several projects at any given time, and the flexibility to adjust for abrupt changes in strategic direction.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Willingness to work overtime, or weekends to support critical mission milestones
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted

Pay Range:

  • Project Coordinator: $50,840 - $72,168
