What you’ll do
⦿ Machine Operation: Operate CNC machines and other production equipment such as drills, grinders, forklifts, and burners to manufacture high-quality steel parts accurately and safely. Daily tasks include running pre-written CNC programs and handling materials with remote-controlled cranes.
⦿ Blueprint Interpretation: Read and analyze blueprints and technical specifications to ensure parts meet required dimensions and tolerances, supporting precision in production.
⦿ Quality Control: Monitor production processes, perform quality checks, and document any exceptions or issues. Promptly address problems to maintain high standards and comply with safety protocols.
⦿ Collaboration: Work closely with shop employees and report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor to ensure smooth operations and effective communication throughout the production process.
⦿ Training and Development: Participate in a 6–8 week training period to build skills and knowledge necessary for success in the role.
⦿ Travel Requirements: No travel is required for this role.

What you’ll bring
Must-haves:
⦿ High school diploma or GED
⦿ Minimum 2 years of CNC machine operation experience (programming not required)
⦿ Ability to read a tape measure and interpret blueprints
⦿ Basic math and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-haves:
⦿ Comfort working in a manufacturing environment
⦿ Willingness to learn and adapt during training
