Job description

Start Date: 5/6/26

Length: 3 months

Hourly Pay: $50/hr

Hours: 10 hours a month

Location: Remote

We're looking for a Junior Copywriter to join our content team and help produce a monthly newsletter for a major tech company. You'll be working alongside a Project Manager and a Senior Copywriter; it's a collaborative, tight-knit setup and we want someone who thrives in that kind of environment.

Our audience is Gen Z and Millennials, and the topics we cover are the ones they actually care about; job seeking, career growth, skills training, new educational resources, product launches, and what's happening across the industry. The writing needs to feel real and relevant, not corporate. If you know how to write for a digitally savvy audience that has a short attention span and high standards, this might be the role for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Writing copy for a monthly newsletter targeting a Gen Z and Millennial audience
  • Covering a rotating mix of content: career tips, job seeking, training opportunities, new products, educational topics, and broader industry news
  • Collaborating with a Senior Copywriter and PM throughout the full editorial cycle, from ideation all the way to final delivery
  • Taking feedback well and incorporating it quickly; that's a big one for us
  • Managing your own assignments and deadlines with minimal hand-holding
  • Maintaining a consistent brand voice across different content types: headlines, intros, feature copy, CTAs, and more
  • Contributing ideas in content brainstorms and planning sessions

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years of professional copywriting experience writing for big, recognizable brands — this is required
  • A portfolio that shows range and  a digitally native audience
  • Be comfortable working under tight deadlines
  • The ability to move fast when the deadline calls for it, without sacrificing quality
  • Someone who takes feedback as a tool, not a personal critique
  • Strong writing, sharp editing, and great communication
  • Comfort working independently when needed, and collaboratively the rest of the time

Nice to Have

  • Experience writing newsletters, email content, or editorial-style copy
  • Familiarity with content strategy or audience segmentation
  • Background writing across verticals like career, education, tech, or lifestyle
