What We Do…
We’re people who love technology but know that hoteliers just want things to be simple. So since 2006 we’ve been constantly innovating our world-leading hotel commerce platform to help accommodation owners find and book more guests online - quickly and simply.
We’ve helped everyone from boutique hotels to big chains, enabling travellers to book igloos, cabins, castles, holiday parks, campsites, pubs, resorts, Airbnbs, and everything in between.
And today, we’re the world’s leading open hotel commerce platform, supporting 50,000 hotels in 150+ countries - with over 130 million reservations processed by SiteMinder’s technology every year.
About the Director, AI & Data Transformation role…
The Data & Business Systems team provides the digital foundation that powers SiteMinder’s operations and growth. - Own the internal data and AI asset portfolio and transformation roadmap.
- Align priorities, dependencies, resourcing, and governance with the Data & Business Systems strategy.
- Oversee backlogs, roadmaps, and releases for internal data and AI assets, ensuring they are useful, scalable, documented, safe, and easy to adopt.
Use cases, business cases and value realisation
- Shape ideas into clear use cases with defined value, effort, risk, and success measures.
- Ensure every initiative has a simple business case and measurable outcomes.
- Provide oversight across initiatives to manage scope, risks, dependencies, and benefits.
- Track outcomes such as productivity, revenue, conversion, churn, and time-to-insight.
Business partnering and stakeholder alignment
- Lead cross-functional governance for AI and data transformation.
- Align priorities across Go To Market, Support, Success, Onboarding, Business Systems, and the central AI and data portfolio.
- Partner with senior leaders across business, product, and engineering to facilitate decisions, resolve trade-offs, and represent AI and data transformation in planning forums.
Change, enablement and adoption
- Lead change management for new AI and data capabilities.
- Drive communication, training, and adoption so teams use new tools effectively.
Team leadership and capability building
- Lead and develop key roles across change, product ownership, and AI enablement.
- Build a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
This role owns portfolio governance, prioritisation, and value realisation for AI and data transformation initiatives, while partnering with Business Systems teams that remain accountable for platform strategy, tooling decisions, and technical delivery.

- Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders to drive process and operating model change enabled by technology or data.
- Experience owning or co-owning internal platforms or products, such as data platforms, shared services, or internal tooling, with clear adoption and business outcomes.
- Experience working with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Product or Product Marketing on go-to-market enablement for new data and AI capabilities.
- Strong experience working with data, engineering, and product teams in a modern cloud environment, such as AWS and Snowflake or Databricks.
- Strong portfolio and product management capability across intake, prioritisation, delivery, lifecycle, and KPI management for internal data and AI products.
- Strong business partnering, analysis, and process or operating model design skills.
- Proven change management and communication skills for shifts in tools, processes, and decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, influence, and negotiation skills in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Solid data and AI literacy, including data platforms, analytics, ML/LLM, and governance, with the ability to translate between business and technical teams.
- Strong delivery skills, including planning, risk and dependency management, and benefits tracking, with a bias for simplification and unblocking.
- An outcome-oriented and pragmatic mindset, focused on real business impact.
- A strategic and systems-thinking approach, connecting AI, data, internal products, processes, and governance to SiteMinder’s broader strategy.
- A strong commitment to responsible AI and data use, balancing innovation with governance, risk, and ethics.
- A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to build trust, work through ambiguity, and lead through evolving priorities.
