About the role
We are looking for a Solution Engineer to support Kiefer Tech's presales work with B2B customers.
You will work with customers to understand their business problems, workflows, and goals. Then you will help shape the right AI/robotics solution together with Go-to-Market, Product, and Engineering.
This role is not only about product demos. You will help with structured discovery, workshops, solution design, PoC/pilot scoping, feasibility discussions, technical explanations, customer presentations, and proposal support.
You should be comfortable speaking with both business and technical stakeholders, asking strong business and technical questions, and turning unclear customer problems into clear solution ideas, PoC scopes, assumptions, risks, timelines, and next steps.
Important: this is an office-based role. We are currently considering candidates who are already based in Athens and able to work from our office.
What you will do
- Support presales conversations with B2B customers through discovery calls, workshops, demos, and solution presentations
- Understand customer workflows, pain points, business goals, technical context, and constraints
- Translate customer needs into clear solution concepts, realistic use cases, and PoC/pilot scopes
- Help define PoC assumptions, success criteria, feasibility, risks, timelines, and dependencies
- Prepare customer-facing materials, proposal inputs, and technical descriptions in simple business language
- Work closely with Go-to-Market, Product, and Engineering to map customer requirements to product capabilities and share customer feedback
- Identify new use cases and expansion opportunities within customer accounts
What you will need
- 3-5+ years of experience in solution engineering, presales, technical consulting, solution architecture, customer success engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role
- Experience working with B2B customers and understanding their business problems, workflows, and decision-making process
- Strong structured discovery, communication, and customer problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical/product solutions and define realistic PoC or pilot scope
- Experience with demos, workshops, proposals, requirement gathering, pilots, or PoCs
- Understanding of technical products, ideally AI, automation, robotics, data, cloud, or enterprise software
- Fluent Greek and English
- Based in Athens and ready to work from the office
- Comfortable with early-stage processes, ambiguity, and high ownership
Nice to have
- Consulting background with real customer-facing solution work
- Experience with AI, GenAI, automation, robotics, data, cloud, or enterprise software products
- Experience with MEDDPICC or similar discovery frameworks
- Experience with solution discovery, workshop facilitation, RFP/RFI, or enterprise requirement gathering
- Experience defining PoC/pilot scope, success criteria, risks, timelines, and dependencies
What is there for you
- Office-based role in Athens
- B2B AI and robotics products at Kiefer Tech
- Opportunity to help build the solution engineering function
- Direct impact on how Kiefer Tech sells and delivers AI/robotics solutions
- Customer exposure with B2B clients and senior stakeholders
- Small team, high autonomy, and low bureaucracy
