As an Automation Engineer in the Digital Workplace team, you'd be able to work on and solve some of the many interesting challenges we are facing, learn new ways of working, and build delightful high-quality products for our customers.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the secure and efficient management of identity and access management (IAM) solutions, specifically leveraging Okta Identity Engine and Entra ID. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, and maintain IAM policies, authentication, and authorization controls in alignment with industry standards and banking regulations.

You will be required to develop scripted procedures and automation of day-to-day common executed tasks in End User Computing services and endpoint management operations in an enterprise environment.

Role Specific Technical Competencies

  • Collaborate and work with the various stakeholder to develop DevOps pipeline and workflow to automate end-to-end deployment processes to support Application Packaging, Windows and Mac OS patching and configurations.
  • Develop service dashboards to monitor, detect, remediate endpoint health, and risk issues, such as endpoint posture, patch versions, and related security compliance gaps.
  • Further enhancement and maintaining ITSM tool (Atlassian Jira) for process automation. Creating custom workflows, managing permissions, automating processes, and providing user support request fulfilment and virtual agent expansion.
  • Participate in EUC projects including Base Image upgrades, Office 365 Collaboration suite, endpoint OS optimisation.
  • Administer Okta by doing SSO integrations with different protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth). Troubleshooting authentication and access issues. Manage the identity lifecycle and provisioning access to other applications.
  • Competence in error handling, logging, and monitoring Okta Workflow executions. Ability to build Okta Workflows and leverage on connectors to trigger action across applications.
  • Proactively engage internal business and other stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve digital workspace and employee experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT and minimum 10 years’ experience in end user computing and automation engineering role within a Banking industry.
  • Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automated deployments via Harness, with required proficiency in PowerShell and API orchestration.
  • Extensive experience in automating IT operations, Application Packaging using Intune and JAMF, endpoint security compliance scanning and auto-remediation.
  • Okta Certified Administrator or higher certification preferred.
  • Experience in developing reporting dashboard for hardware asset management
  • Added advantage if possessed knowledge in ITIL operation standards, endpoint security, management of group policies and security controls.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill with proven ability to work well in a technically challenging and multitasking environment.
  • Possess creativity, ingenuity, and willingness to challenge status quo.
  • A team oriented and team player.
