Job Description

Data Management:

  • Develop and implement data management strategies for media assets.

  • Ensure proper cataloging, tagging, and metadata management of all media data.

  • Monitor data quality and integrity, implementing corrective measures as necessary.

Data Governance:

  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with content creators, production teams, and IT departments to understand data needs and workflows.

  • Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to leverage media data for strategic initiatives.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze media data trends and usage to provide insights for content strategy and performance optimization.

  • Generate reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Asset Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities for enhancing the value of media data assets.

  • Develop processes for data lifecycle management, including archiving and deletion protocols.

Technology Management:

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of data management tools and systems.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in media data management.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to team members on data management practices and tools.

  • Serve as a point of contact for data-related inquiries and support needs.

    Job Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Media Studies, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

    • 5+ years of experience in data management, preferably within the media or entertainment industry.

    • Proven track record in managing large datasets and media assets.

    • Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles.

    • Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., DAM systems, SQL, Excel).

    • Familiarity with media formats and industry standards.

    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

    • Detail-oriented with a passion for data and media.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Adaptable to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
