Mission of PATH
PATH exists to provide radical accompaniment, opportunity, and formation on the PATH through college and to Heaven. We team with schools and families on scholars’ journeys from 6th grade through the attainment of the highest degree of their desire in order to enable fullest flourishing.
Role Overview
The Administrative & Communications Intern will support the PATH Tucson Program by managing digital outreach, streamlining communications, and providing essential administrative support. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented student interested in non-profit management, educational programming, graphic design and/or marketing.
Key Responsibilities
The Administrative & Communications Intern will support the PATH Tucson Program by managing digital outreach, streamlining communications, and providing essential administrative support. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented student interested in non-profit management, educational programming, graphic design and/or marketing.
Digital Marketing & Content Creation
Social Media Management: Lead the PATH Instagram account, including content scheduling and community engagement (~2 hrs/week).
Graphic Design: Create flyers, digital slides, and promotional materials for students and families using tools like Canva (~1–2 hrs/week).
Student Outreach & Stakeholder Engagement
Automated Communications: Manage the Slate drip campaign, designing and scheduling emails for multiple stakeholder groups (~1 hr/week).
Check-in Management: Monitor student tracker completion and send reminders via the PATH email or Google Number for incomplete tasks (~30 mins/week).
Monthly Updates: Curate and design \"GPS Level\" newsletters for Middle School, High School, and College/Career cohorts with relevant resources (bi-monthly).
Program Operations & Logistics
Standard Weeks: 5–7 hours ($18/hr)
Peak Periods (Events/Summer Prep): Up to 10 hours.
Schedule: Flexible, with some required presence at PATH events.
Weekly Time Commitment (Estimated)
Event Support: Research potential event venues, request catering menus, and negotiate non-profit discounts during event seasons.
Data & Research: Assist with \"Data Collection\" tasks (e.g., aggregating school and college calendars) and complete periodic expense reports.
On-Site Support: Assist with event check-ins and \"Summer Administrivia\" (creating name tags, organizing schedules, and taking photos).
Other duties as assigned.
Communication: Strong written communication skills for newsletters and professional email etiquette for outreach.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with Instagram and Canva. Experience with Slate or other CRM/Email marketing tools is a plus (or a willingness to learn).
Organization: Ability to track deadlines for multiple student cohorts and manage periodic tasks independently.
Advocacy for Equity: A passion for supporting students through the PATH program.
Compensation: $18/hour
