Are you a creative and organised communications professional who enjoys variety, collaboration and bringing ideas to life? We’re looking for a Temporary Communications and Marketing Adviser to support a busy and dynamic team across a range of communications and marketing activities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working across digital content, social media, websites, and stakeholder communications in a fast-paced environment.
Ngā Haepapa Matua | Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
In this varied role, you’ll help deliver engaging communications and marketing initiatives across multiple channels and audiences. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to support content creation, digital engagement and day-to-day communications activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and delivering social media content
- Coordinating and producing newsletters and communications material
- Updating and maintaining website content
- Supporting marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities
- Providing general communications and marketing support across the team
Hourly rate is between $30 per hr - $40 per hr and will be dependent on skills and experience
Assignments may range from short-term opportunities of around four weeks through to several months or up to 12 months, with both full-time and part-time hours available.

You’ll be a confident communicator with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach. You enjoy balancing multiple priorities and are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
You may bring:
- Experience in communications, marketing or digital content roles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with social media and website content management
- The ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
- A collaborative and customer-focused approach
