Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Purpose

LPNs working in Dialysis and under the supervision of the RN will be proficient in provides dialytic therapy to patients with acute renal failure or end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support outpatient hemodialysis on-site.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will:

  • Observes safe practices and maintains a safe environment while caring for the patient.
  • Operates the unit communication systems, facilitates unit communication and relays messages appropriately (per HCH standard) including: emergency communications, patient needs, telephone and intercom communications, and other departmental communications.
  • Documents patient care/assessment data in the EMR including but not limited to: vital signs, patient status, treatments, education provided, assessment data, administration and effectiveness of medication, IV therapy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing (required)

Pay Range:

  • $23.97 - $33.56 per hour
  • Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
