As a Product Analyst Intern, you will focus on strengthening OTR’s product analytics foundation by ensuring consistent Google Analytics tagging, clear mapping of key user flows, and reliable usage insights across all applications. Interns will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Analytics leaders to create durable documentation and analytics standards that support long-term product decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory OTR applications (web, mobile, internal tools) and assess GA4 coverage
- Identify tracking gaps and validate key user interactions (logins, features, search)
- Define and standardize GA4 naming conventions across products
- Partner with Engineering to ensure proper implementation
- Map critical user journeys (onboarding, search-to-action, transactions)
- Ensure each step is measurable with analytics events
- Define core product metrics (conversion, adoption, drop-off)
- Support reporting readiness with dashboard outlines and metric documentation

- MatrixGA4 Tagging Standards & reference examples
- Feature flow diagrams with event mapping
- Metrics definition guide and sample reporting frameworks
What we look for:
- Working towards a degree in CS, MIS, or IE
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Possess organizational skills in a detail-oriented setting
- Team player with ability to multitask in a results-driven environment
- Rising junior/senior in CS, MIS, Data Analytics, or related field
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working with technical and product teams
- Preferred: Experience with GA4, product analytics, or UX research
