Job description
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Facility Support Officer to join our Facilities, Projects & Assets team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative, financial and customer service support to ensure the smooth delivery of building maintenance services across the City.
Your day-to-day work will see you coordinating maintenance requests, monitoring work orders and contractor performance, and managing high volumes of invoices and purchase orders in line with procurement processes. You’ll also play a key role in administering service contracts, supporting budget activities, maintaining key and lock systems, and producing reports that support operational decisions.
Working closely with internal teams, contractors and customers, you will deliver responsive and professional service while contributing to safe, well-maintained and efficient facilities for the community.
To be successful, you will bring experience in an administrative or financial processing role, along with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. You will be confident working with financial systems and handling high volumes of data and have advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
A relevant diploma (or equivalent experience), strong communication skills, and a customer-focused approach are essential. Experience with corporate finance, asset management or records systems will be highly regarded, along with a current driver’s licence and National Police Clearance.

- Flexible hours and free parking
- Boosted superannuation and extra leave options
- Gym discounts and wellness programs
