Senior Integration Developer

The City of Stirling is looking for a highly skilled Senior Integration Developer to join our Corporate Information Services team. In this role, you’ll lead the design and delivery of enterprise integration solutions that power critical services.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Integration Developer, you will provide technical leadership in the design, development and support of enterprise integrations across a complex ICT environment.

Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll deliver scalable and secure integration solutions that enhance data flow, system interoperability, and organisational efficiency.

Integration & Solution Design

• Design and implement Azure-based integration solutions using Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, and Event Grid
• Develop API-led and event-driven architectures for real-time and asynchronous integration
• Build secure, reusable APIs to enable seamless system connectivity
• Deliver ETL/ELT processes ensuring data quality and consistency

DevOps & Automation

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for Azure resources
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Promote best practices in integration architecture, API governance, and DevOps

Stakeholder & Technical Leadership

• Lead workshops to gather and define integration requirements
• Provide expert advice, coaching, and guidance to team members
• Partner with vendors and evaluate new technologies and solutions
• Collaborate across project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes

Position Description

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience in enterprise integration (APIs, data integration, ETL/ELT)
• Proven expertise with Azure Integration Services (API Management, Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Deep understanding of API-led and event-driven architecture patterns
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
• Certificate IV in Systems Analysis and Design or similar – desirable
