What you will be doing:
As Electrical Engineer in Sustainable Melting, you will be responsible for the Medium Voltage scope across all project phases – from initial specifications and design to test, commissioning and after service.
Your assignments may vary from rebuilds of existing factories to large “Green field” projects related to the conversion from fossil fuels to green electricity – in Europe, US and Asia.
Moreover you will:
- Be responsible for Medium Voltage scope within the melting area across all project phases, from initial specifications and design to test, commissioning and after service.
- Work on projects related to the conversion from fossil fuels to green electricity, including extensive rebuilds of existing factories as well as construction of new facilities.
- Act in projects or manage project activities when others work on your behalf
- Take the lead on design and provide sparring to programme and factory management to ensure optimal solutions
- Strive to improve design and quality of solutions based on the latest knowledge and by building strong supplier relationships
You can expect to travel 60-80 days per year, primarily within Europe.
What you bring:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or another relevant field
- 5+ years of experience within Medium Voltage systems, preferably in industrial or power-related projects
- Knowledge of electrical design and documentation, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and MV distribution layout and specification
- Experience with network analysis, including short circuit, load flow calculations and relay settings
- Understanding of transformer specifications and power conversion technologies
- Familiarity with control interfaces and integration between systems
- Knowledge of installation logic, procedures and project planning
- Ability to communicate efficiently in English in an international environment
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
