Automation Engineer

Our client, a global leader of medical device manufacturing solutions is hiring an Automation Engineer . The successful candidate will be part of a team that designs and builds Automated Equipment for the medical device, pharmaceutical and other highly regulated sectors. You will become part of a growing multi-disciplinary team delivering automated equipment solutions from concept through to full implementation and have responsibility of Machine control system software design, development & commissioning. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain varied experience in the design of high-tech engineering applications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Design and integrate control system software for automated machines including PLCs, Robotics, Motion, HMI, SCADA, Vision Develop, test, commission & support machine control software Design of equipment to CE, electrical, machinery safety and clients’ standards Interpret & develop design & validation documentation required for regulated industries (URS, FDS, FAT, etc) Specification of control system components Collaborate closely within a multi-disciplinary project team throughout an entire project life cycle
