T o meet current corporate needs, we would like to bring to our team a Commercial & Events Associate – Sports Park, The Ellinikon We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Commercial & Events Associate to join our team at The Ellinikon Sports Park, one of the most exciting and innovative sports and leisure destinations in Greece. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in event coordination, and brand strategy within the sports sector. This individual will play a key role in driving revenue, maximizing the commercial potential of the sports park, and ensuring the smooth execution of various events and activities. The role also includes significant responsibility for overseeing branding strategies and managing naming rights agreements. The Commercial & Events Associate will be reporting to the Sports Park Commercial Manager. In detail, the Commercial & Events Associate, will be responsible for the following aspects of the Ellinikon Project: 1. Commercial Management & Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies for the Sports Park, identifying new opportunities to drive revenue through partnerships, sponsorships, and other business ventures. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key commercial partners, including tenants, sponsors, advertisers, and vendors. Ensure that all commercial and partnership agreements are aligned with the overall brand and strategic vision of The Ellinikon Sports Park. Monitor and analyze market trends to ensure competitive positioning of the sports park and its offerings. 2. Event Management & Coordination: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of various sporting events, concerts, exhibitions, corporate events, and community activations within the sports park. Work closely with internal teams and external event organizers to ensure all logistics, marketing, staffing, and operational requirements are met for each event. Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution and profitability. Coordinate with local authorities, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth event operations and compliance with safety regulations. 3. Branding & Naming Rights: Execute the development of the Sports Park's branding strategy, ensuring consistency and alignment with the overarching vision of The Ellinikon development. Oversee all aspects of brand messaging, including visual identity, tone of voice, and positioning across various media platforms. Collaborate with the marketing and operations team to execute campaigns that leverage sponsorship and branding opportunities, including digital media, signage and other promotional activities. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of branding initiatives and naming rights deals to ensure ROI for all stakeholders. 4. Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all event-related inquiries from partners, sponsors, and stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, sales) to ensure the successful integration of event strategies into daily park operations. Build and maintain positive relationships with local and international sponsors, media, corporate clients, and other key partners. Represent The Ellinikon Sports Park at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the venue and attract new business . 5. Reporting & Analytics: Provide regular reports on the financial performance of commercial ventures, including sponsorship revenues, naming rights agreements, and event profits. Analyze the success of events and commercial deals, recommending improvements and adjustments to strategies as necessary. Track competitor activity and trends to ensure The Ellinikon Sports Park maintains a leadership position in the marketplace. You will be a successful candidate for our opening, if you can identify yourself with the following criteria: Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree or additional qualifications in event management, marketing, or business is a plus. Professional Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event planning, or brand partnerships, ideally within the sports industry. Strong understanding of branding, sponsorships, and naming rights agreements. Familiarity with the events and entertainment industries in Greece or internationally is a strong advantage. On the personal side, the ideal candidate for this position should have: A Strategic thinking with the ability to develop innovative solutions to commercial challenges. High motivation, and be results-driven, with the ability to work autonomously. Creativeness, with a strong eye for branding and marketing opportunities. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A passion for sports, events, and creating memorable experiences for diverse audiences. Proven ability to negotiate and manage contracts, including sponsorship and naming rights deals. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and analyze commercial performance. Proficient knowledge in MS Office Suite and event management software.
