Job description
TERNA ENERGY , member of Masdar Group, is seeking a: Contract Manager Essential Functions for the Role Oversee contract administration activities across major infrastructure and energy projects. Manage and monitor Variation Orders (VOs), Requests for Change (RFCs), and contractual workflows in alignment with FIDIC or equivalent contractual frameworks. Maintain centralized contract, risk, and change management registers to ensure transparency, traceability, and audit readiness. Coordinate multidisciplinary impact assessments related to cost, schedule, scope, and commercial risks. Support proactive dispute avoidance and early warning processes throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare contractual analyses, reports, and escalation papers for senior management and steering committees. Facilitate risk workshops and contribute to integrated project governance and decision-making processes. Liaise with contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders regarding contractual obligations and commercial matters. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Construction Management, or a related field. Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Contract Management, or a related discipline will be considered an asset. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in contract management, change control, or commercial/project management within large-scale infrastructure or energy projects. Strong knowledge of FIDIC or equivalent contract forms. Experience in commercial risk monitoring, claims prevention, and dispute avoidance. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent knowledge of English language (both oral and written). Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications. Familiarity with project controls and risk management tools will be considered an advantage.
