We are currently seeking to recruit an Associate Lawyer to join our Competition & Antitrust practice group, working on complex, high-stake matters across various industries in collaboration with a dynamic and supportive team. This role offers hands-on exposure in intriguing competition law cases spanning across the full spectrum of competition law (antitrust, mergers, state aid), dealing with high-profile transactional and contentious matters as well as antitrust advisory and compliance. You will be working alongside capable competition lawyers of various levels of experience, prioritizing the provision of high-level, customized and business-oriented legal services.
Qualifications & Skills Postgraduate degree (LLM or equivalent) with a focus on EU competition law Qualified as an attorney-at-law in Greece 2 – 5 years of experience in competition law Excellent command of the English language (oral and written) Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills Commitment, integrity and work ethics Robust organizational and teamwork skills Ability to multi-task, and work efficiently and independently High level of commercial awareness Self-starting and self-motivated Other factors that will be highly valued: Internship at EU Institutions (DG COMP, Legal Service of the European Commission, EU Courts), or the Hellenic Competition Commission Experience in State aid cases
