Mechanical Engineering Manager

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager with strong manufacturing experience to lead our engineering team and support the design, optimization, and reliability of production equipment and product line development. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced factory environment, understands the realities of production constraints, and can balance hands‑on technical work with strategic leadership. Responsibilities & Duties: · Lead and mentor a team of engineers, mechanical drafters. · Oversee mechanical design, equipment upgrades, automation improvements, and process optimization initiatives. · Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on throughput, quality, safety, and cost reduction. · Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and improve manufacturing performance. · Manage capital projects, including equipment selection, vendor coordination, installation, and commissioning. · Conduct root‑cause analysis for equipment failures and implement long‑term corrective actions. · Ensure all mechanical systems comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and internal quality requirements. · Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, BOMs, SOPs, and maintenance plans. · Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring manufacturability, tooling readiness, and smooth production ramp‑up.
