Job description

As a critical part of the Equifax Workforce Solutions Proposal Development Team (PDT), the Proposal Content Manager will act as owner, manager, and administrator of the PDT content library. This individual will report directly to the Sr. Director, Proposal Development, and will work closely with all PDT members. We are looking for a creative, positive, and analytical leader with an audience-first mindset for the role of Creative Content Manager.

In this role, you will structure and maintain content used in the preparation of RFX responses and proposals in a cloud-based content management and database application. The content database application is utilized by PDT to populate, answer, and create winning responses and proposals for Request for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Due Diligence Questionnaires, sales proposals and presentations.

You will engage with various cross-functional teams including Sales, Account Management, Professional Services, Pre-Sales, Sales Opportunity Management, Solutions Consulting, Product Development, Operations, Legal/Contracts, Security, Compliance, and various Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and update database content. Demonstrated project management skills, effective time management skills, a commitment to teamwork, exceptional written and verbal communication skills and exceptional forward-thinking and follow-through will be the keys to success in this role.

What you'll do

  • Serve as Administrator for the implemented cloud-based content database application (Loopio) and support users and training as needed
  • Manage feedback requests from content database users, and user’s provisioning and deprovisioning as needed
  • Manage response content library: Ensure content is evergreen and accurate; Ensure quality control throughout content database; Identify inaccuracies and duplicity in content and manage according to documented PDT processes; Develop, write, refresh, and maintain all Equifax boilerplate RFX and proposal content housed in the cloud-based content management application
  • Measure and increase internal stakeholder satisfaction with content findability and quality including organizational adoption and alignment to new content processes and procedures
  • Design and optimize workflows, standards, and processes for content asset management
  • Perform annual content audits and oversee ongoing maintenance of content library; Develop, plan and manage the project timeline to meet the forecasted delivery deadline
  • Develop and maintain database content structure by business unit, business vertical, solution set, and business operation segment
  • Works with Marketing graphic design team to develop infographics or other graphical representations of key content; Savvy in the formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, and proportion
  • Partner with Marketing designers to set visual guidelines that follow Equifax brand, typography, and graphic standards
  • Meet periodically with PDT Senior Directors to ensure response content style and format entry is in accordance with company guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Review the structure of the knowledge base with team members on a regular basis to ensure it meets the needs of PDT
  • Communicate systematically with PDT to address any changes in content (e.g., new solution features/sunset of features)
  • Assist with editing content for consistency of voice, spelling, and general Equifax branding and formatting; Maintain adherence to company policies and procedures with regard to proposal preparation; Respond to specific RFX sections and/or questions as needed
  • Answer client due diligence and vendor compliance questionnaires as needed
  • Manage submittal and completion of security questionnaires, terms and conditions, and compliance questionnaires to appropriate internal Equifax departments, as needed
  • Facilitate and generate business solutions proposals for Sales as needed; Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all PDT boilerplate RFX and proposal content
  • Provide instruction and guidance to SMEs in the development and update of RFX and proposal content
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) regularly to revise and update content so it clearly and persuasively describes service features, value propositions, benefits and outcomes
  • Schedule regular reviews with knowledgebase users / SMEs to identify areas of improvement
  • Collaborate with various departments (Marketing, Pre-Sales, Legal, Compliance, IT, Security, HR, Finance, etc.) to improve current content and generate new content Essential Knowledge,

What experience you need

  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining RFX content database software, RFX Management software, and proposal management software applications
  • 5+ years of experience in proposal development / management
  • 5+ years of Marketing experience in creative writing / graphic design
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or equivalent work experience.
