Sr Software Engineer

What You’ll Do

• You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
• Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
• You are part of a community and participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards
• You have experience in overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance
• You will collaborate with product owners, architects, and others to define work for the team
• You enjoy mentoring other engineers, having a voice in defining our challenging technical culture, and helping to build a fast-growing team

What experience you need

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 10 years of experience in software engineering Go (Preferred), Java, or DotNet.
• 2 years professional experience with an additional language of those three or python, ruby, or php.
• 6 Experience in debugging, diagnosing, and trouble-shooting complex, production software

What could set you apart

• You have detailed knowledge of modern software development life cycles including CI / CD
• UI development (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, Angular, and Bootstrap)
• Strong knowledge of Git and branch strategy optimization
• Software development best practices such as TDD, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
• Experience with Cloud computing, particularly AWS
