Job description
We don’t follow best practices, we set them!
Callstack supports and inspires top industry leaders in shipping better digital products and services to their users. We are a team of high-level experts in cross-platform development and consultancy. We co-create the technology, collaborate with the Meta team on setting the direction for the future growth of the React Native framework, and much more!
We are recognized in the React Native Community as contributors to Open Source projects , organizers of React Universe Conf , and speakers at international conferences. We also organize regular community meetups in our HQ in Wrocław, Poland.
We truly believe that you can get the best out of people when you give them a chance to participate and develop. At Callstack, you are the one to decide in which area you want to grow; you’ll have an individual self-development budget to empower your competencies and gain new skills. Our goal is to give every employee the opportunity to speak up and introduce their ideas to build the future together.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for leaders who want to build leverage across the company - not just manage a function. For the right person, this is a chance to join a successful business with strong foundations, real momentum, and the ambition to scale how it operates without losing speed, quality, or edge. This is one of those roles.
We’re looking for a Head of Operations to work side by side with our CEO and help turn strategy into execution.
This is a high-agency, hands-on operator role at the center of the company - leading execution with a strong focus on leveraging AI to increase speed, quality, and scale.
You will work directly with the CEO as a force multiplier, partnering closely with the Board, the CTO (Founder), and the broader leadership team - translating strategy into execution, driving alignment across the organization, and ensuring that critical initiatives actually get delivered.
We are in a phase of strong growth, with solid foundations already in place - teams, processes, and ways of working that deliver real results. At the same time, as the company scales, we need to bring greater consistency, structure, and leverage across the organization.
This role is about taking what works and elevating it - building a more cohesive, predictable, and scalable operating system for the company, increasingly AI-enabled.
This is not a coordination role. This is an execution role.
You will operate at the intersection of
•
strategy,
•
operations,
•
transformation,
•
AI-enabled execution at scale.
You are expected to think like a strategist and act like an operator.
What you’ll do
Your primary focus
•
Co-create and operationalize company strategy together with the CEO, in close collaboration with the CTO (Founder)
•
Drive end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives across the organization, together with other members of the leadership team
•
Lead and continuously improve planning processes across strategy, OKRs, budgeting, and reporting
•
Build and scale performance management systems, including KPIs, OKRs, reporting, and operating cadences
•
Establish and strengthen execution discipline across teams
•
Embed AI into operational processes and decision-making to increase speed, quality, and leverage
Your broader scope
•
Own and evolve internal project management standards and capabilities (PMO)
•
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment at the leadership level
•
Build a more data-driven management culture and stronger decision-making processes
•
Lead operational transformation initiatives, including the adoption of AI across workflows
•
Strengthen continuous improvement culture through process excellence, leaner ways of working, automation, and workflow optimization
•
Over time, help shape and develop a small team of project, operations, and process specialists
What success looks like early on
In your first 90 days, your goal will be to take control of how the company operates and bring clarity, consistency, and leverage across what is already in motion - while already driving tangible improvements.
You will build on existing foundations while identifying and addressing the most critical gaps and inconsistencies.
This is not a “diagnose and present” phase. You are expected to analyze and improve in parallel.
You will
•
rapidly map and assess how the company currently operates across teams, processes, and reporting,
•
identify the most critical gaps, inefficiencies, and misalignments,
•
start solving the highest-impact problems immediately — not just documenting them,
•
bring structure and clarity to ongoing initiatives and priorities,
•
establish visibility and control over key projects and execution streams,
•
introduce initial standards for planning, reporting, and execution discipline.
By the end of this period, you should be able to say
“I’ve got this. Here is how the company operates, what needs to change, what we are doing, what is already improved, and where decisions are needed.”
You are also expected to start identifying and implementing opportunities where AI can meaningfully improve how the organization operates - from decision-making to execution speed and process efficiency.
