Joining Van Bael & Bellis as a trainee means becoming part of a firm where legal excellence , teamwork , and intellectual curiosity are part of everyday life. Trainees are fully integrated into the teams and experience first-hand how lawyers work on sophisticated, high-quality matters for a diverse and demanding client base.

From the outset, trainees are carefully onboarded and guided by a dedicated buddy. They work in small, collaborative teams alongside associates and partners and contribute to concrete legal work, including research, drafting, and case preparation. The work entrusted to trainees is meaningful and directly linked to ongoing matters, ensuring a real and enriching learning experience .

The working environment at Van Bael & Bellis is international, and collegial. English is the firm’s working language, and trainees join a diverse team of lawyers from a wide range of legal, cultural, and academic backgrounds.
