What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality medical care and creating positive experiences for both our patients and clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing compassionate patient care and low-stress handling techniques
  • Triaging incoming patients and assisting with medical assessments
  • Collecting and processing laboratory samples, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimens
  • Performing diagnostic imaging, including radiography
  • Monitoring and caring for hospitalized patients with varying levels of medical needs
  • Administering medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Educating clients and communicating treatment plans with professionalism and empathy
  • Assisting with surgical procedures, patient preparation, and recovery
  • Monitoring anesthesia and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures
  • Collaborating with a dedicated team to provide outstanding veterinary care

  • Provides exceptional client service and communicates clearly and professionally
  • Accurately interprets medical records and obtains thorough patient histories
  • Has knowledge of preventive care, surgical procedures, and daily hospital operations
  • Demonstrates confidence in low-stress animal restraint and patient handling
  • Is skilled in laboratory sample collection and processing
  • Is proficient in diagnostic radiography (dental radiography experience is a plus)
  • Has experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
  • Is eager to learn, grow, and expand their clinical knowledge
  • Embraces constructive feedback and continuously strives to improve patient care and hospital efficiency

Pay Range: $18-$21/hr
