Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with consistency and attention to detail.
- Greet employees and guests warmly while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive, energetic attitude at all times.
- Create a welcoming café environment that promotes a happy and engaging experience for everyone.
- Bring creativity and energy to the café by developing featured monthly beverages, seasonal offerings, and other hospitality experiences that contribute to a welcoming and engaging workplace environment.
- Partner with the Office Services team on employee appreciation events, celebrations, and special hospitality experiences throughout the year.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the café area, pantry spaces, equipment, and service stations.
- Monitor inventory levels for café and pantry supplies and place orders as needed to ensure products remain fully stocked.
- Track product usage and communicate supply needs proactively.
- Support daily opening and closing procedures for the café.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Assist with café-related events, tastings, seasonal promotions, and office hospitality initiatives.
- Report any equipment issues promptly and call service vendors to resolve problems efficiently.
- Maintain strong communication with management regarding café operations, supply needs, and service concerns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous barista, café, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to maintain a friendly, professional, and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Experience managing inventory, ordering supplies, and working within a budget preferred.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable troubleshooting minor equipment issues and coordinating vendor support when needed.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist where needed.
