LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Site Coordinator to join our team at 23961 Calle De La Magdalena, Suite 230, Laguna Hills, CA 92653

Work Schedule : Monday to Friday hours vary between 6:00am-6:00pm, additional hours and rotating weekends may be required

Job Responsibilities

Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisors

Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs

Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary

Address any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful manner

Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

Process billing information and collecting payments when required

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent

California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT)

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree

1year or more of experience as phlebotomist

1 year or more of experience supervisory role

Additional Job Standards

In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.

Experience managing workflow in a patient-centered environment

Knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, techniques, and role responsibilities.

Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record •

Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Exceptional customer service

Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Comfortable working under minimal supervision

We are seeking a Patient Service Center (PSC) Site Coordinator to join our team. This position will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of activities of Patient Service Centers within an assigned area. The PSC Coordinator will work closely with the PSC staff, management, as well as the laboratory staff and clients to ensure optimal operation of the Patient Service Center. The position will also perform phlebotomy and specimen processing procedures at LabCorp Patient Service Centers under minimal supervision.

QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM. PSC Site Coordinator may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Pay Range: $23.00 - $40.13 per hour

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
