Project Manager - FTTx Micro Deployment Projects

We are currently looking for a Project Manager for FTTx Micro Deployment projects, with active involvement in field operations, production coordination, and project execution.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of fiber optic projects, ensuring smooth field execution, compliance with project timelines, achievement of production targets, and effective budget control.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall coordination and management of FTTx Micro Deployment projects, ensuring smooth execution aligned with production, quality, and timeline targets
• Supervision and follow-up of Coordination teams, Field Operations teams, and site supervisors/foremen supporting the day-to-day project activities
• Organization and oversight of civil works crews, cabling teams, subcontractors, and field technicians in collaboration with field management teams
• Daily monitoring of production progress, productivity, KPIs, and project deliverables, with a strong focus on resolving operational issues affecting execution
• Management of project budgets, cost control, and resource allocation to ensure optimal financial performance
• Coordination between internal departments, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery
• Support and guidance to field teams and foremen in resolving technical and operational challenges when required
• Ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and Health & Safety procedures
• Monitoring and approval of project documentation, reports, deliverables, and as-built documentation
• Conducting site visits and operational reviews when required to monitor progress and support project teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Project Management, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in fiber optic or telecommunications infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of FTTx / FTTH projects and Micro Deployment implementation processes
• Proven field experience in projects involving civil works and cabling crews
• Experience supporting and coordinating production teams in the field
• Good understanding of project cost management and budget monitoring
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Familiarity with project management tools
• Strong coordination and team management skills
• Solid understanding of telecom field operations and fiber optic infrastructure works
• Ability to manage multiple teams, subcontractors, and priorities simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in fast-paced operational environments
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Driving license and willingness to travel to project locations
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong results-driven approach
• Experience in telecom projects for major telecom providers will be considered a strong advantage
